It’s a bit vague and can confuse you more rather than help.

This is one of those can’t-go-wrong-with products. To make its stabilizer competitive, Daystar put an extra emphasis on advanced technology. First of all, it features a chrome-hardened piston shaft that has a positive effect on longevity and reliability. Secondly, thanks to velocity-sensitive valving, you’ll get increased road traction.
Overall, the Scorpion steering stabilizers have excellent value and will be money well spent. I have to, however, mention, that despite the official description, this isn’t a US-made product. It’s quite capable of handling all kinds of stress off the road, which can’t be said about many rivaling products. As for the downsides, while the installation is mostly straightforward, minor tweaking will still be in order. First of all, the rubber bushings need some trimming to work. Secondly, the supplied bolts are average at best and I recommend reusing the stock ones. Finally, the tierod mount should be moved closer to the stabilizer. That’s pretty much it.

Thanks to the bigger-than-average cylinder and chrome-hardened piston rod, this stabilizer will be a reasonable investment. It is backed by a generous (three-year) warranty and is very easy to install. The whole process won’t take you more than two hours, and it can be done with basic tools from the garage. Once you’re done with the installation, bump steer will be significantly reduced.
Sadly, the provided hardware will not be an easy fit. Mainly, the bolt that comes as part of the package is a bit too short. And the only solution is to get a new bolt of the right size (and possibly also a spacer).
Rough Country did a decent job with this steering stabilizer. It is (relatively) easy to install, has a good effect on overall performance, and is backed by a decent warranty. The included hardware is a bit “off”, however.
